Making paper dolls May 21 and May 22

The historic buildings are open on Sundays starting May 21 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Join us also on holidays from 12:00 to 4:00. This year that includes Monday, May 22, Saturday, July 1, Monday, August 7, Monday, September 4 (reservation required for this date) and Monday, October 9. Our volunteers are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and demonstrations. There will be a family craft and children’s activity each time as well. Make sure to stop by the General Store for a sweet treat and make the Friends of Westfield Gift Shop your last stop to purchase something unique.

Westfield is also a great place to enjoy nature. We have walking trails suitable for every ability. Check out the Giant Swallowtail Trail or maybe the Chinquapin Oak Trail. This 3 km trail, walking from the Village parking lot makes a nice circular loop from the village. Each season offers a variety of views including a lilac dell, hardwood forest and open meadows.

Visiting the lilac dell.

Admission is $11.00 for your car and $5.00 per person in the car. Children 5 and under are free. You don’t need to reserve in advance to come out on a Sunday or holiday afternoon. Reservations are only required when there is a special event taking place such as our Fairy Event (Sept. 3 and 4), Halloween and Christmas.
