If you are a regular visitor to Westfield Heritage Village you have probably met our volunteer David Clifford. He is most often at the General Store playing the role of shop owner and candy seller, but David helps out in many areas of Westfield's operation. It's not unusual for a school aged child to come into the store on a Sunday and say "Remember me?!" David always asks if they participated in an education program. David helps with school programs, weddings, food services, maintenance, office work and so much more. On Sunday, June 10 we are celebrating David's achievement of donating 20 000 hours of volunteer time to Westfield. Meet David at 2:00 p.m. at the Bandstand to congratulate David and have a piece of cake. If time permits David may even give a short tour of his favourite spots.
Musical group Babbage Industries is also here on Sunday to perform two sets starting at 1:00 p.m. Click the link to listen to "Little Song" by Babbage Industries. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zyy3tlski28
Resident volunteer art teacher Cyndy will also be out at 2:30 p.m. to give another art lesson. This is suitable for 8 years and older. Make sure to check out the Friends of Westfield plant table as well. Reasonably priced plants are just outside the Gift Shop area. We look forward to seeing you from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Admission for an adult is $12.00, a senior 65 years and older is $10.00, a youth 6-17 years is $6.50 and a child 5 and under is free. We also accept the Hamilton Conservation Authority Membership which gives your free admission to two adults and up to 4 youth. If you haven't got yours yet pick one up at the admission kiosk.
