Join us for Telling Tales 2019. Westfield and Telling Tales celebrate children's literacy for the eleventh year. This year's theme is Stories Change The World. Check out www.tellingtales.org for all the details about the Festival including a list of presenters and activities.
There's a couple of things to keep in mind for this event. Everyone parks in Rockton at the Rockton Fairgrounds and hop on the Shuttle Bus to Westfield. We are not able to accommodate pets on the bus so this is a great day for your dog to take a long nap and hear about your adventures when you get home. You will also want to pack a water bottle that you can refill at the Quench Buggy. Strabane Optimist and Farm House Kitchen will be available for food or you can also pack a picnic into your knapsack to enjoy on the grounds. Crazy Cravings will have yummy ice cream treats or how about a hot dog from Jeff's Street Eats. Westfield's General Store will also be open for old fashion sodas, candy and pickle on a stick. Finally, you can also stop by the "Hardware Store" for some refreshing lemonade, homemade cookies, apples and pears oh my!
This is a free event! Hope to see you there.
