This Sunday July 21 from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m., Westfield will host a special pop-up featuring vintage postcards of Hamilton. Organized by Westfield volunteer Alyssa Di Cesare, this one-day-only event presents 159 fascinating postcards from the collection of Janet Forjan, a local collector who shares her passion for postcards and Hamilton history through her website hamiltonpostcards.com. The postcards will be displayed in several historical buildings throughout Westfield. These cards date from the 1890s through the 1930s and depict everything from early street views and advertisements to trolleys and waterfalls. Be sure to stop by the Hardware Store, where you can make your very own Westfield postcard to take home.
Enjoy a leisurely pace this Sunday strolling the grounds and visiting with our costumed volunteers. As always there will be cool treats available at the General Store. Ice Cream cups and iced sodas are on the menu. Find a comfortable bench at the Bandstand with a breeze coming across the green. See you on Sunday.
Admission for an adult is $12.00, a senior 65+ is $10.00, a youth 6-17 years is $6.50 and a child 5 and under is free. We also accept the Hamilton Conservation Membership for this event.
