Westfield will be open this coming Sunday, September 2 and Monday, September 3 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. On Sunday the pop-up activity will be an Ice Cream churning demonstration. Visit the Misener House and help churn some old-fashioned ice cream. A perfect way to end the summer before adding back to school and fall activities.
On Monday, September 3 join Program Interpreter, Lloyd Bailey, at 2:00 p.m. for a guided tour in the Village. Have an opportunity to see some of the buildings not staffed with a volunteer. Admission on either day is $12.00 for an adult, $10.00 for a senior, $6.50 for a youth 6-17 years and a child 5 and under is free. We also accept the Hamilton Conservation Authority Membership. Use the pass to receive free admission for up to two adults and 4 youth.
Visit Eddie D. Cat Confectionery and enjoy an old-fashioned soda, homemade cookie or try our famous tea biscuit. Attention all children make sure to check in at the school house and visit with our resident school teacher to find out what school was like more than 100 years ago. How did children feel about going back to school then. Maybe some things never do change!
