Treat Dad to a leisurely afternoon at Westfield Heritage Village. Westfield is a great place to come and have a picnic in either our picnic area or on the Village Green. Add an ice cold soda or sweet treat from the General Store to your own picnic lunch.
This Sunday we will be having a bit of fun with... beards. You may have noticed the growing popularity (pun intended) of men's facial hair. Well that's not a new phenomenon. Historical Interpreter Bill Wheeler will be at the drug store discussing health aspects of having a beard in the Victorian era. Kids will have a chance to make a fun thaumotrope toy in the school. "Now the man has a beard- now he doesn't..."
Westfield is open from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Admission for an adult is $12.00, a senior 65+ is $10.00, a youth 6-17 years is $6.50 and a child 5 and under is free.
