Come spend Canada Day weekend with us. We will be open Sunday, July 1 and Monday, July 2 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Westfield is a natural choice to show off your Canada Day swag as you stroll through Canadian history. Receive your free Canada Day pin while quantities last.
We are taking the opportunity to highlight a very Canadian story. Westfield is well known for the film locations used in the filming of Anne of Green Gables starring Megan Follows. Make sure to pick-up your self guided brochure and walk through the very locations used to create this favourite story by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Fans of the newest version of the story, on CBC, will be delighted to discover that two of Westfield's stores have a "starring" role in Season 1 and Season 2.
On Sunday, Westfield Volunteer Cat will be showing how to make felted wool beads. Visitors will have the opportunity to turn their creation into a bracelet or simple necklace.
On Monday, visitors can help to make an extra cool treat. The ice cream churn will be out at the Gillen House. Many hands will help crank the cream into ice cream that much faster. This will be good practise ahead of our Ice Cream Carnival taking place on Sunday, August 5 and Monday, August 6.
Admission this weekend is $12.00 for an adult, a senior is $10.00, a youth 6-17 years is $6.50 and a child 5 and under is free. We also accept the Hamilton Conservation Authority membership. Two adults and up to 4 youth will receive free admission. We look forward to seeing you soon.
