This Sunday, June 16 our pop-ups will look at some decidedly masculine topics. At the Drugstore, our volunteer interpreter will be talking about the history of beards and their health associations. At the tailor shop our resident tailor will demonstrate the construction of men’s trousers and at the Hardware Store kids will enjoy making a special take home craft project – a thaumotrope featuring a clean-shaven, then whiskered, gentleman.
Come enjoy our beautiful spaces this Sunday from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Plan to have a picnic in the picnic area or on the Village Green. Treat yourself to an old fashioned soda and homemade treats from the General Store. Admission for an adult is $12.00, a senior 65+ is $10.00, a youth 6-17 years is 6.50 and a child 5 and under is free. We also accept the Hamilton Conservation Authority Membership for this program. Two adults and up to 4 youth will receive free admission. Hope to see you on Father's Day!
