What is that I spy in the undergrowth at Westfield? It looks like a tiny house – a tiny log house. Only at Westfield can you discover the magical and unique world of the fairies who lived in the beautiful ambience of Westfield Heritage Village. Explore the abandoned buildings and the forests to see how they lived, worked and played.
On Sunday, July 31 and Monday, August 1 Westfield will be open for our first Fairies in the Forest Event. Visitors can explore our special Fairy displays and historical buildings. There will be demonstrations, the Fairy Craft Center will be open and a great photo opportunity at the Victorian Bandstand. Stop by the General Store for some treats or pop by the Fairy Shoppe for a unique find. The Gift Shop will also be open. Buy lunch at the Copetown Lions Food Trailer. Hamburgers, hot dogs and yummy French fries are on the menu.
For this experience reservations are required. Two hour timeslots are available starting from 10:00 a.m. and are available every 15 minutes with the last time slot 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Reservations will go on sale Friday, July 15. You can find a link on our events page.
Some visitors have asked how the admission price works. Pre-pandemic the cost for a family, 2 adults and 2 children, to enter a Westfield event was $38.00. In order to create a more enjoyable experience for everyone we have moved to a reservation system and there is a small increase to the price. For a family, 2 adults and 2 children, the cost is $40.50. Everyone pays a reservation fee which is $10.00. To be able to track the number of cars we can accommodate in the parking lot we charge $10.50 per car. Each person coming pays $5.00. Children 5 and under are free. If you have an HCA membership card you get a great discount. You only need to pay the $10.00 reservation fee. Hope to see you at Westfield!
