Everyday is a good day to relax and enjoy the ambiance of Westfield Heritage Village Conservation Area. Westfield is a great place to walk whether its doing “laps” around the Village Green or hiking the trail system through our wooded area. The terrain is mostly flat making it an easy trail to walk or maybe the kids would rather ride their bikes to enjoy the almost 8 km of trails and walkways.
Others enjoy the grounds for the peace and quiet. Regular visitors, such as Elise and Al, make themselves comfortable in their fold down chairs reading a book or something a bit more industrious like knitting.
Picnic tables are available and our washrooms are open too. Kids may enjoy trying our scavenger hunt posted in the admissions area or maybe give our game app a try. Visit the app store on your phone and download TaleBlazer. Once you have it on your phone you won’t need the internet to play. Just remember to scroll down to the bottom of each page to press “ok”. This is a great way to explore some of our buildings while they currently remain closed to the public.
Use your Hamilton Conservation Authority membership for contactless entry or buy a day pass in our pay machine for $15.00 per car load to come and enjoy the day.
