Each year Westfield volunteers get together to make Christmas swags to decorate the historical buildings and thankfully that was one activity we could safely do to continue the tradition. We collected lanterns, silver dollars and golden rod from the gardens to help embellish the spruce branches. Some have bows and some don’t. Some are very plain representing the very early time periods when ribbon would have been a luxury and some have a cheery red bow representing the commerce of the early 20th century when Christmas shopping started early too.

Visitors can come out every day (except Christmas Day) to enjoy the conservation area for hikes on the trails or a stroll through the Village to see the natural decorations we have added to the picturesque Village setting. Use your membership card in the automated gate system or buy a day pass from the pay box for $15.00 per car using your debit or credit card.
