This past Sunday it was decidedly looking like winter had arrived at Westfield which turned our minds to the upcoming festive season and what our plans are for 2021.

If you are looking for a family outing take a drive to Westfield this December and enjoy both the festive and tranquil ambience of the historic village and conservation area. Starting on December 1 Westfield’s historic buildings will be decorated on the outside with our natural Christmas swags that our volunteers make each year.
We also plan to have 3 specially decorated shop windows to view from outside including a miniature train display.
You can add some fun to your hike on the trails and look for 10 wooden Christmas trees hidden along the way. There’s also a special scavenger hunt in the village. Do you know the words to the Twelve Days of Christmas?
Of course, there will be some great outdoor opportunities to take unique pictures too.
Don’t forget that on Sundays, December 5, 12, 19 only from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. our Gift Shop and General Store will be open from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. for last minute shopping opportunities.
The cost to come into the conservation area is $15.50 per car load or you can use your HCA membership card. Westfield’s Conservation Area is open 7 days a week until 5:00 p.m. The last day to view the decorations will be January 2.
Please keep in mind, while making your plans to visit, that the historical buildings are not open.
