What’s that colour?”

Join us this coming Sunday, May 6 and enjoy the fresh spring colours. The tulips and daffodils are blooming. There is a green sheen coming over the trees too. At 2:00 p.m. join one of our resident expert historical interpreters to find out how colour is achieved on both wool and linen thread using plants, twigs and flowers. There will also be an opportunity to explore the benefits of calendula. Make your own paper pot and plant some calendula seeds to take home.

Come spend the afternoon with us from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Adult admission is $12.00, a senior (65 years+) is $10.00,  a youth (6-17 years) is $6.50, a child 5 and under is free. We also accept the Hamilton Conservation Authority Membership pass. Two Adults and up to 4 youth receive free admission. Remember to bring some change to enjoy an old fashioned soda at the General Store or a yummy home baked cookie. See you soon.
