Join us on Saturday nights December 2, 9, and 16 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. for Westfield's traditional Christmas festivities. Each evening, weather permitting, we will have fireworks at 6:00 p.m. There will be carol singing in the church at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Our buildings are decorated for the season and our costumed volunteers are eager to share the various Christmas traditions. This year's theme is Christmas in the Woods featuring illuminated lights in part of our Conservation Area.
Tickets can be purchased at the door starting at 5:00 p.m. Admission for an adult is $11.00, a senior 65 and older is $10.00, a youth 6-17 years is $6.50 and a child 5 and under is free. Our Family rate which includes 2 adults and 2 youth is $30.00. If you purchase your ticket online please remember to print a copy to hand in at the admission kiosk. If you have the Hamilton Conservation Authority Membership pass make sure to bring it with you for free admission. The pass covers two adults and up to 4 youth. We expect it to get busier the closer we get to Christmas so you may want to come for 5:00 p.m. to get a parking spot.
Farm House Kitchen will be catering in the Ironwood this year. Their menu includes Sandwiches such as Christmas Ham with Cinnamon-Apple Mayo for $6.00, Roasted Turkey with Cranberry Sauce for $6.50 and Elf Made Egg Salad for $5.00. There's also Christmas Eve French Toast Bake with Maple Syrup and Whipped Cream for $5.50, Mrs. Claus' Baked Rotini Pasta for $5.50, Christmas Morning Wife Saver $5.50 and Soul Warming Homemade Soup and bun for $5.00. The Ironwood is also a great place to warm-up with a hot chocolate or hot cider and make sure to try a homemade baked good.
Westfield is also a great place to purchase Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers for the family. You might want to bring some extra cash. The Friends of Westfield operate the gift shop to raise funds each year for different projects at Westfield so they have stocked many new items. Visit the General Store in the Village for some yummy candy or unique gifts made in the Village by our talented volunteers. The Hamilton Conservation Authority is also having a sale. For just $100.00 (plus HST) you can give the gift of Nature to your loved ones. The Annual membership pass is a great way to support education programs and other projects at Westfield.
We hope to see you at Westfield this Christmas season. If you have any questions you can reach us at 519-621-8851 or firstname.lastname@example.org
