Experience a musical treat this Sunday at Westfield. Southern Ontario is home to many talented acoustic musicians who get together in both formal and informal settings to practice and perform a wide range of music. On just about any day of the week, you can hear some fantastic tunes being played in the community halls, private homes, and local churches.
Some of these musicians are coming together on Sunday, June 3 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. to play in Westfield's beautiful rural, historic setting. Visitors will be able to travel to several locations within the village and listen to some delightful music, including Canadian Olde Tyme, Bluegrass, Country and more, played on mandolin, banjo, guitar, fiddle, bass and other acoustic instruments.
Our historic buildings will also be open to explore with our costumed volunteers. Take a break at the General Store and enjoy an old-fashioned soda or another sweet treat. Admission for an adult is $12.00, a senior (65+) is $10.00, a youth (6-17 years) is $6.50 and a child 5 and under is free. Hey- Hamilton Conservation Authority Members- take advantage of your membership and receive free admission to this musical event and to the Conservation Area. Your membership allows 2 adults and up to 4 youths in for free.
Westfield is a great place to reconnect with your family and friends after a long week at work. Come relax with us.
