There are some great lessons to learn from our Early Settlers including the concept of reducing, reusing and recycling. Join us on Sunday, May 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Blacksmith House to find out how to braid a rug using scrap fabric. Each year thousands of pounds of clothing material end up in our landfills and we could turn those cast offs into useful articles like rugs, chair mats and pot holders.
Westfield is open Sundays and holidays from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Visit with our costumed interpreters, stroll the grounds or stop for a cool refreshing old-fashioned soda at the General Store. Admission for an adult is $12.00, a senior is $10.00, a youth 6-17 years is $6.50 and a child 5 and under is free. We also accept the Hamilton Conservation Authority Membership pass. The pass is a great way to spend a free afternoon at Westfield or one of our sister sites like Valens, Christie, Dundas Valley and Fifty Point. See you soon.
