What do these things have in common? They are all part of Westfield's Victoria Day Weekend. Join us on Sunday, May 20 for our 2:00 p.m. pop-up paint lesson. This paint lesson is suitable for anyone 8 years and older. Our resident volunteer art teacher, Cyndy Thomas will teach colour mixing, paint techniques and how to use a variety of brushes effectively to create trees and simple flowers. Children will create a small painting to take home. Westfield is open Sunday from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Join us again on Monday, May 21 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. If you missed your invite to the Royal wedding come to Westfield for the next best thing - a Victorian-style wedding. You are invited to take a seat in the village’s 1854 church at 3:00 pm. to witness a happy couple in their authentic Victorian finery. The Gallery String Quartet will be there to provide glorious musical accompaniment and the Reverend William Wheeler will officiate.
